An air conditioner is a device that changes the characteristics of the air and makes it comfortable by performing operations such as changing the temperature, increasing or decreasing the humidity, filtering and adjusting the speed.

In terms of structure and appearance, air conditioners are classified into two main groups: vertical and horizontal.

Also, in terms of the placement of the blower or centrifuge and the coils, the air conditioners are placed in two main groups: blowing flow or suction flow.

In blowing flow ventilators, the fan or centrifugal fan is placed before the coil, and in suction flow ventilators, the ventilator blower is installed after the coil.
